Finding Your Server Address

Your server's IP address and port are shown in your AgilaHost dashboard under your order details, or in the game panel under the Console tab header.

Connecting from Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft Java Edition
  2. Click Multiplayer
  3. Click Add Server
  4. Enter your server address in the format: IP:PORT (e.g., 125.253.92.5:25565)
  5. Click Done, then double-click the server to join

Connecting from Bedrock Edition

  1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition
  2. Go to PlayServers tab
  3. Scroll down and click Add Server
  4. Enter the IP address and port separately
  5. Click Save and then Join Server

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

  • Wrong Minecraft version — Your client version must match the server version. Check the Startup tab in your panel for the current server version
  • Java vs Bedrock mismatch — A Java server cannot be joined from Bedrock (and vice versa) unless you install GeyserMC. See our crossplay guide
  • Cracked/pirated client — If you're using a non-legitimate copy of Minecraft, check server.properties and set online-mode=false. Note: this disables Mojang authentication
  • "Connection timed out" — Double-check the IP and port. Make sure the server is running (status should show "Online" in the panel)
  • Port checker shows closed — Online port checkers test TCP connections, but game servers often use different protocols. If the server is running in the panel, the port is working. Try connecting directly from Minecraft
