How to Set Up GeyserMC on Your Minecraft Server
GeyserMC allows Java and Bedrock players to play together on the same Minecraft server.
Prerequisites
- A modified Minecraft server running a supported Java edition version (1.16.5 or later)
- Geyser Plugin
- Floodgate Plugin
Note: AgilaHost automatically downloads these files if you choose the Paper-Geyser-Floodgate option when ordering.
Option A: Paper-Geyser-Floodgate (Automatic)
If your server was ordered with this option:
- Go to the Startup tab in Pterodactyl
- Set the Geyser port to the port your server is running on
- You're done!
Option B: Manual Setup
- Upload the files: Upload the Geyser and Floodgate
.jarfiles to your server's plugins folder - Configure GeyserMC:
- Go to Files → plugins → Geyser-Spigot → edit config.yml
- Set
bedrock: port:to your server's port - Set
remote: port:to your server's port - Set
remote: address:to 127.0.0.1 - Set
auth-type:to floodgate
- Save and start the server
