How to Set Up GeyserMC on Your Minecraft Server

GeyserMC allows Java and Bedrock players to play together on the same Minecraft server.

Prerequisites

Note: AgilaHost automatically downloads these files if you choose the Paper-Geyser-Floodgate option when ordering.

Option A: Paper-Geyser-Floodgate (Automatic)

If your server was ordered with this option:

  1. Go to the Startup tab in Pterodactyl
  2. Set the Geyser port to the port your server is running on
  3. You're done!

Option B: Manual Setup

  1. Upload the files: Upload the Geyser and Floodgate .jar files to your server's plugins folder
  2. Configure GeyserMC:
    • Go to Files → plugins → Geyser-Spigot → edit config.yml
    • Set bedrock: port: to your server's port
    • Set remote: port: to your server's port
    • Set remote: address: to 127.0.0.1
    • Set auth-type: to floodgate
  3. Save and start the server
